Universo is a transport company specialized in floriculture. Founded in 1991 is located in Sanremo (Imperia), in famous "Riviera dei Fiori" area. Was born to transport local products internationally and thanks to Grandiflora S.p.A. has developed over the years to satisfy more and more customers. Today is an important reality able to efficiently carry out every type of transport.

Work

Our logistic base is located in Sanremo, just few steps from local Flower Market. Warehouse has 6 walk-in refrigerators to always keep goods (mainly flowers and plants) in best possible conditions. With almost 30 years of experience we can provide high level service to satisfy our customers and partners. The routes of our greatest interest are Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.

The company can also count on an important sorting points in Cuneo, Como and the Netherlands in order to optimize delivery times. Our main goal is to serve customers with maximum efficiency in terms of departures and arrivals of the goods from the international routes.

Our Fleet

At present we have 40 own refrigeration vehicles of both types: 10 semi-trailer and 30 double trailer trucks, all with double drivers, as well as box lorries for distribution. All our vehicles are new and recent in compliance with the latest anti-pollution regulations (EU6), equipped with refrigeration units set up for transport of all kind of goods. Our trucks have also high transport capacity and hydraulic tail lift for loading and unloading goods.
